Methodology
Luxury.me is a register, not a magazine. Every entry describes a provider with facts taken from that provider's own website, and every fact carries the page it came from and the date we read it.
What an entry contains
For a household staffing agency we record the office address in the city, other locations the agency names, the roles it places, the types of placement it offers, the replacement guarantee it states, whether it publishes fees, the licence or authorisation it names, the languages of its website and the year it says it was founded.
For a lifestyle concierge we record the office, other locations, the services it describes, how clients gain access (membership, on demand, application) and whether it publishes prices.
Each entry closes with the list of source pages, each with the date it was retrieved, and the date the entry as a whole was verified.
What is never recorded
We do not write reviews, rate providers, rank them, or accept payment for a position in a list. Entries within a city are ordered by name. We do not copy marketing claims: a provider that calls itself the leading agency in its region is listed as an agency in its region. We do not record anything about candidates or clients, and we do not collect personal data on this site.
What "not stated" means
Many providers publish no fees, no guarantee period and no founding year. Where a website is silent, the entry says so. We never estimate, infer or fill a gap from third-party sources. A blank is information too: a reader who wants to know the fee model knows that the question has to be asked.
How providers are selected
A provider is listed when it has its own website, serves private households as a stated client group, and either keeps an office in the city or names the city as a market it serves from a nearby office. Hotel concierges, credit-card and bank concierge programmes, employee-benefit concierges and agencies that place only in corporate roles are not listed.
Verification and editions
Each city is reviewed as an edition. The edition month shown at the top of a city page is the month in which its entries were last verified. We re-read every source page at least once a year and whenever a provider or reader reports a change.
Corrections and claims
Providers can claim their entry and submit corrections by email; the links are on every entry. Corrections that change a fact are checked against the provider's website before publication. Readers can report errors the same way. A provider may ask to be removed from the register.
Citing Luxury.me
Entries may be cited with their URL and the verification date shown on the page. The register is updated continuously, so the date matters.
